General Rules

The minimum age to join the server departments is 16 years of age.

Doxxing yourself, or anyone else will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

Any actions that violate the TOS of Discord, FiveM, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or otherwise is not allowed.

NSFW content or actions is not allowed. (Ingame or out of game)

Harassing members, starting arguments, and being immature is strictly prohibited. If someone asks to stop doing something, just stop. There is no need to be rude to other members. (This includes DMs)

Absolutely No Advertising unless given explicit permission by Directors anyone found advertising will be removed from the community

Basic Respect

We strive to create a community that all parties can feel welcome and comfortable in. Any derogatory comments or any comments that make someone feel uncomfortable are strictly prohibited.

Staff will take actions against any sexual harassment, name calling, disrespectful attacks on a personal level, etc.

Any racist, sexist, or homophobic comments made towards another player in the server is strictly prohibited. The excuse of “it is my character” is not valid. If you have an issue, open a ticket.

Quality of RP expectation

That is the expectation that all members are proficient and have good RP. Members who only want to earn money or Rob players will be removed immediately. All members are expected to have good serious RP. All members should engage in passive RP at times!

The staff team highly encourages detailed characters with backgrounds and interesting character traits. Voices and voice changers are permitted only if they sound good and do not obstruct other players. Individual characters can be serious or Goofy. However all characters should strive to have in-depth and good RP

Criminal Activities

Criminals with the intention to partake in criminal activities that are PvP oriented are limited to 4 players MAX at any given time.

Relaying information to or between people (lookouts, radio communications) counts as a person.

You are not allowed to interfere with other parties’ robberies once they have started. This goes for vigilante RP as well.

Players may break other players out of police custody only if the imprisoned party is being transported to the Police Station or Bolingbroke Penitentiary.

Looting / robbing any player without a previous altercation is not allowed.

Robbing Cops is allowed as long as you have a reason or prior RP, Rule 5 of this section applies to the police.

Punishments

Staff may give any punishments they see fit in a situation. The punishment is non-arguable. However, if you believe the punishment is incorrect, excessive, targeted, etc. you may contact staff by creating a ticket, and an investigation into your punishment MAY be opened.

Punishments may include, but are not limited to, warnings, strikes, temporary bans (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days), and permanent bans.

Staff may enforce unwritten rules if needed.

In game Information

You must always stay in character while playing on the server.

In the event that there is an in-game issue, finish your role-play scene and deal with the issue after.

You may not have a character with the same name as public figure / historical figure.

Talking about another character of your own is not allowed. This means you do NOT know your criminal character if you are on as a cop, and vice versa. Your characters are standalone and are meant to be their own person.

All in-game characters must be at least 18 years of age.

Powergaming / Fail RP

Powergaming is the action of using means not actually in-game to gain an advantage in role-play.

Talking or calling out locations while dead or downed is prohibited.

If an individual or a group of people is engaged in a shootout, cops or affiliated players may get picked up by medical. However, you may not come back to the scene and interfere after you are treated. Keep NLR in mind.

Roleplay before and after a server restart should not be stopped or become less serious An example of Powergaming is escorting or emoting through a wall or carrying someone while on a motorcycle (unrealistic)

In Character Experiences

Everything that happens in game is occurring and being experienced by your character, not you. You are not to take any actions that happen to your character personally. Any actions or verbiage that you say in game are in a way that your character would do it, not yourself ooc.

Robbing Police & NITRP

Robbing Police

A cop arresting you or giving you a ticket is not justification to rob them. When in a robbery, take items of interest off of law enforcement officers, only what you deem as essential items that are needed for RP reasons. Taking more than one firearm or item off officers may be perceived as unjustified if not needed by your character to have.

NITRP

At the end of the day, this is a roleplay server. Escalating passive scenarios into violence or chaos without a within-RP justification is against server rules. Running from law enforcement during a traffic stop without needing to do so is an example of this. Joining the server just to troll or negatively impact roleplay scenarios is strictly prohibited. Each and everyone of your characters should contribute to the roleplay experience, only escalating scenarios when it may add a positive element to that scene.

Combat Logging and Logout Zones

Combat logging is defined as exiting the game (F8 Quit or Pulling ethernet cord) prior to the end of a scene, regardless if combat has finished or not. All scenes should be completed to the end. If you are downed/dead, you may not F8 quit. If someone else breaks the rules in a scene against you, this is not an excuse to logout. Simply continue with the scene, report them, and then you may leave game once the scene is over. When you do quit game, try your best to not to do so when in front of other players. Drive and go into your house before quitting, go into an alley with no one around, or utilize a bathroom as a logout zone.

If your game crashes, you are to notify the individuals involved immediately via ⁠#『』general chat. Failure to notify others of a crash may be perceived as a combat log if it is mid scene.

Justification to kill a player

Killing a player should be a last resort and avoided unless needed for the RP. killing because you dislike someone or they have disrespected you is prohibited.

Rules

Do not attack another player/group without any prior altercation leading up to it.

Killing or robbing somebody because “it is your character,” or just for being in your gang territory is strictly prohibited.

Hitman RP is strictly prohibited.

VDM

Vehicle Deathmatch is strictly forbidden and includes using your vehicle at random to consistently ram into another vehicle or hit a pedestrian, without a prior RP interaction or roleplay reason to do so.

Exploitation

Any in character benefitting mods or game breaking features is strictly forbidden. An example of this is graphics mods to see through a bush.

Using a bug or glitch in the server to benefit your player is against server rules.

Roleplaying out scenes with /me

/me should be used exclusively for actions done in character. /me should not be used for ooc conversations and trolling. You are encouraged to respond to /me’s from other players when it involves an interaction done to your character. Such as when a medic does /me “checks injuries, what do i find?”

Reporting to Staff

All rule breaks should be reported via a staff ticket. If poor RP quality occurs in front of you, continue with your roleplay as normal and then open a staff report once the scene is over. False reports are disallowed.
